Update: Trees to Trails at Radnor Lake 2019

Park visitors are dropping off/recycling their Christmas Trees at the West Parking Area now thru February 1st. Thank you to all of our park visitors who have dropped off their trees the past few days! If you have not had the opportunity yet, we need all the old Christmas Trees we can get that fit our criteria for mulch on the trails. Since December 26th, we have had over 265 trees dropped off and chipped by our friends at Clean Earth Collections!
We will be installing these trees on the Lake Trail and Spillway Trail during the month of January and February. Volunteers and volunteer groups are needed to help with mulching our trails now thru March 1st. Our next scheduled Volunteer Day will be on Friday, January 25th (1pm-4pm) for any park visitors wanting to come and help spread recycled Christmas Tree mulch along the trails with the ranger staff. Any volunteer groups wanting to schedule a day to assist the park staff with putting this recycled mulch on our trails in between now and March 1st, please contact Lyndy Maness at lyndy.maness@tn.gov or at 615-373-3467.
Special Thanks to Jonathan Cummings and his crew at Clean Earth Collections for donating their time to chip all the donated trees!
