Weed Wrangle Session #3 at Radnor Lake
For our third and final Weed Wrangle Event at Radnor Lake, over 40+ volunteers came out to Radnor Lake to work with the park staff on removing invasive-exotic plants. These volunteers started at 8am working pulling and stump cutting invasive bush honeysuckle at Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory along the southern boundary areas of Radnor Lake. Once our work day was done, volunteers were treated to a special tour of the observatory thanks to the Vanderbilt-Dyer Observatory Staff!
Thank you to all of the 125+ volunteers who came to assist us at Radnor Lake the past 48 hours, Vanderbilt-Dyer Observatory for hosting today’s event and hospitality the past two days! Special thanks to Friends of Radnor Lake who provided pizza for all of our volunteers and staff on Friday and Saturday!
