Trees to Trails Volunteer Day at Radnor Lake on January 22, 2021.

On Friday, January 22nd volunteers worked with the park staff on mulching trails via wheelbarrow with recycled Christmas Trees as part of our Trees to Trails Program at Radnor Lake.  As part of our Go Green Sustainability Efforts, over 500+ Christmas Trees have been donated and turned into mulch to be installed on the Lake Trail.  

 

Special thanks to Friends of Radnor Lake for providing bottled water for our volunteers and to Clean Earth for donating their services for chipping our donated Christmas Trees.
