Trees to Trails at Radnor Lake State Natural Area

Park visitors are dropping off/recycling their Christmas Trees at the West Parking Area now thru February 1st.

Thank you to all of our park visitors who have dropped off their trees the past few days! If you have not had the opportunity yet, we need all the old Christmas Trees we can get that fit our criteria for mulch on the trails.  We will be installing these trees on the Lake Trail and Spillway Trail during the month of January.  Volunteers and Volunteer groups are needed to help with mulching our trails now thru March 15th.  Our next Volunteer Day will be on January 24th (8am-noon) for any park visitors wanting to come and help spread recycled Christmas Tree mulch along the trails with the ranger staff.  Special Thanks to Jonathan Cummings and his crew at Clean Earth Collections for donating their time to chip all the donated trees!
