TDEC Office of Sustainable Practices at Radnor Lake State Natural Area on June 26, 2015
TDEC’s Office of Sustainable Practices visited Radnor Lake State Natural Area today to conduct a series of meetings at the Walter Criley Visitor Center, participating in an inspection/tour of energy efficient improvements at the park facilities which they partnered with Friends of Radnor Lake to complete in 2014-15.
In addition, all participants were given a tour of the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center by Ranger Will Peters and saw first hand the river clean up results of the Jr. Ranger Intern Program as we recycled 23 tires collected from the Buffalo River (on June 25th 8 mile river clean-up) thru Bridgestone Americas Tires4ward Program.
Thank you Office of Sustainable Practices for your support on our energy efficiency improvements on the Walter Criley Visitor Center and other park facilities in 2014-2015!
