Sunset After Thanksgiving Hike at Radnor Lake State Natural Area on November 25th, 2016
27 park visitors attended the After Thanksgiving Sunset Hike on the Harris 3 Tract on November 25th led by Dr. Doug Heffington, geography professor at Middle Tennessee State University, Park Ranger Paul Schauer and Park Manager Steve Ward.
This interpretive hike was to the park’s newest ridgetops that is currently being acquired thanks to the partnership between the State of Tennessee, Friends of Radnor Lake and the Harris Family. This was also one of 2 off-trail hikes today offered at Radnor Lake State Natural Area as part of the After Thanksgiving Hikes offered at all 56 Tennessee State Parks today.
Special thanks to Dr. Doug Heffington from MTSU Global Studies Program for co-leading this hike today for our park visitors at Radnor Lake!
