Sunrise Harris Ridge Trail Project Hike at Radnor Lake
13 visitors came and joined us for a 6am sunrise hike this morning to kick off the first day of spring hike’s statewide to Harris Ridge Trail.
Temperature was 29 degrees when we started hiking from the Walter Criley Visitor Center along Otter Creek Road.
This hike also included an opportunity to give back as it will also included a 1/2 hour stop/volunteer segment midway thru the hike as registered participants worked together to learn about and pull invasive-exotic plants along our future trail path.
Our hike concluded with a bonus eagle nest viewing thru spotting scopes thanks to Ranger Brandon Jarrett.
Thank you to all of our hikers who came to Radnor Lake to kick off our spring 2023 hike to Harris Ridge!
