Late-Summer Wildflower Hikes

  • Sunday, September 7th at 8am.  Join Ranger Leslie Anne Rawlings for a powerpoint presentation and hike on our late summer wildflowers hike at Radnor Lake.  Program begins at the Radnor Lake Visitor Center.  Ages 10 years old and up. Registration is required and begins on Friday, September 5th at 9:30am.

 

  • Sunday, September 7th at 10am.  Join Ranger Dustin Crowell for a powerpoint presentation and hike on our late summer wildflowers hike at Radnor Lake.   Program begins at the Radnor Lake Visitor Center. Ages 10 years old and up. Registration is required and begins on Friday, September 5th at 9:30am.

History of Radnor Lake

 

  • Sunday, September 7th at 2pm.  Join Ranger Sam King for a program on the history of Radnor Lake.  This program will start at the Visitor Center with a powerpoint presentation and conclude with a short hike to the Historic Valve-House Trail.  No reservations necessary.

 

Snakes of Radnor Lake

 

  • Sunday, September 7th at 3pm. Join Ranger Dustin Crowell for a program with our captive snakes at Radnor Lake.  Meet at the Visitor Center for this program.  All ages.  No reservations necessary.

 

Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center Tours

 

  • Wednesday, September 10th at 6pm.  Join Ranger Sam King for a hike to the aviary center for a tour and birds of prey program while it is under construction for an overview of this environmental education project currently underway at Radnor Lake.  Hike is approximately 1.5 hour. Meet at the Hall Drive/Otter Creek Road.  Reservations are required and open on Sunday, September 7th at 9:30am.
