Radnor Lake Snow Update – 01/08/2022

Both parking areas are currently open however visitors are advised to use the west parking area during snow-icy conditions unless they have 4wd due to ease of access from granny white pike.

Parking is limited as overflow parking up the hill to the dam is closed for vehicles for safety and our state park rangers will begin working on clearing snow from parking overflow parking, east lot parking area and otter creek road today as park visitation allows.

Please note: No parking will be permitted along otter creek road for vehicles that cannot park in a parking space at the east parking area due to safety and accessibility needs in the event of an emergency. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed and will only slow our park rangers efforts to improve access for visitors as soon as possible.

Park office will be closed Saturday but both restrooms will be open for visitors during normal hours of operation.

All rules-regulations apply even during snow events, including no pets on trails, all pets on leash in the natural area and no off trail use.

Rangers will be patrolling all trails and parking areas as usual.

Thank you in advance for your help, patience this weekend as we begin improving access for vehicles.

Visitors should expect for all trails other than otter creek road, the road on the dam and hall drive to be muddy for the next week due to the large mount of precipitation. Visitors are asked to not walk on edges of trails, off trail around muddy spots and/or plan to hike on roadway if they do not want to get their shoes dirty to prevent additional damage to our trail system.
