Radnor Lake November Volunteer Trail Day (Nov. 26th, 2016)
This past Saturday, 48 volunteers from Hands on Nashville, TN Promise Students and park visitors came to Radnor Lake State Natural Area to work with the ranger staff on two trail projects to help us close out our volunteer days for 2016.
Volunteers visitors worked with Ranger Will Peters mulching the Lake Trail with wheelbarrows and worked on installing limestone by hand at the Historic Valve House Project with Ranger Michael Barnes.
Thanks to all of our volunteers this past year who have helped us maintain our trail system, remove acres of invasive-exotic plants, worked at the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Center and helped us with the Historic Valve House Project at Radnor Lake!
Special thanks to Friends of Radnor Lake for providing lunch (pizza) for all the volunteers and park staff every workday this past year!
