On Wednesday, May 27th we celebrated our 6th annual Rachel Carson Day at the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center. Rachel Carson Day is officially recognized as May 27th annually. In 1962, Rachel Carson book Silent Spring was released and helped shaped the mindset of our current day environmental professionals across the world.
