Nissan Volunteers at Radnor Lake

On Friday, September 21st the Radnor Lake Staff worked with over 60 volunteers from our partners at Nissan and from Ensworth High School in honor of National Public Lands Day 2018.
Ranger Paul Schauer worked with our students from Ensworth High School on mulching the lake trail via wheelbarrow while Ranger Will Peters worked with our partners at Nissan on trail projects on the Lake Trail and on Ganier Ridge.
After lunch at the Walter Criley Visitor Center, Nissan volunteers were treated to a hike and tour of the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary by Ranger Teshia Steuben and Ranger Brandon Jarratt.
Special thanks to Friends of Radnor Lake for providing bottled water, gloves and lunch for the park staff on this busy National Public Lands Day Weekend at Radnor Lake.
