Nissan Volunteers at Radnor Lake for TN Serves/NPLD

30 volunteers from Nissan came out on Friday to work with our park staff at the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center as part of our National Public Lands Day/TN Serves 2026.  Volunteers assisted the park staff with numerous needs at our aviary center including installing new gravel inside 3 of our raptor ambassador enclosures, cleaning up and mulching the exterior of the Education Center and amphitheater and assisting us in our preparation for the arrival of a new non-releaseable eagle this fall by working on our Flighted Enclosure ahead of our state inspection next week.

Thank you to all our volunteers from Nissan who came out to work with us on Friday and special thank you to Friends of Radnor Lake for providing lunch, bottled water, and tools for our workday!
