We kicked off NPLD Weekend today at Radnor Lake with our partners at Nissan. Over 30 volunteers from Nissan spent the first half of the day with Ranger Dustin Crowell mulching the lake trail via wheelbarrow. Nissan volunteers concluded their day at Radnor with a hike and tour of the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center with Ranger Crowell.
Starting at 2pm, our NPLD Volunteer Trail Day began with over 25 volunteers coming to Radnor Lake to work with Ranger Paul Schauer to continue working on the lake trail via wheelbarrow.
Special thanks to Nissan and Friends of Radnor Lake for their assistance and support of our volunteer efforts this past year, specifically for the new volunteer t-shirts that were given to all of our volunteers today at Radnor Lake.
Thank you to our Nissan and all of our park volunteers who came out today to assist us with improving our hiking trails at Radnor Lake!
