Land Acquisition Hike Schedule

Unless otherwise noted, reservations for activities open at 9:30 A.M. on the Sunday before the program and will be taken until it is full. Please call 373-3467 to sign up.

Saturday, April 2nd (4pm-6pm): Join Park Manager Steve Ward for a hike to one of the park’s newest ridgetops that was acquired in 2015 in a partnership between the State of Tennessee and Friends of Radnor Lake. See the view from the ridgetop, learn about the watershed, viewshed, historical and natural features of this new property currently being purchased in 2016.   Bring water, a walking stick and wear sturdy shoes. Registration is required and hikes are limited to 12 participants. Ages 13 and up. Reservations begin on Sunday, March 27th at 10am.

Saturday, April 9th (8am-10am): Join Park Manager Steve Ward and Ranger Sam King for a hike to one of the park’s newest ridgetops that was acquired in 2015 in a partnership between the State of Tennessee and Friends of Radnor Lake. See the view from the ridgetop, learn about the watershed, viewshed, historical and natural features of this new property currently being purchased in 2016.   Bring water, a walking stick and wear sturdy shoes. See the view from the ridgetop, learn about the watershed, viewshed, historical and natural features of this new property currently being purchased in 2016.   Bring water, a walking stick and wear sturdy shoes. Registration is required and hikes are limited to 12 participants. Ages 13 and up. Reservations begin on Sunday, April 17th at 10am.

Friday, April 22nd (2pm-3:30pm): Join Park Manager Steve Ward and Park Ranger Sam King for a van tour to one of the park’s newest ridgetops that was acquired in 2015 in a partnership between the State of Tennessee and Friends of Radnor Lake.
