July Volunteer Day at Radnor Lake
On Friday afternoon July 24th, 19 volunteers spent their time working with our park staff at the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center. The focus of this volunteer day was weeding/installing pine straw around the education center building and the amphitheater. In addition, volunteers helped us on our efforts to complete the flighted aviary enclosure netting project which was damaged during Ice Storm Fern.
Thank you to all our volunteers for their help and special thank you to Friends of Radnor Lake for providing funding for gloves, bottled water and tools for our work day.
