Jr. Ranger Intern Program at Radnor Lake (Session 3)
Another great year with 45 Jr. Ranger Interns at Radnor Lake over 18 days of the summer of 2014. A special Thanks to the Friends of Radnor Lake for supporting and funding this program at Radnor Lake as we conclude the 12th year of the Jr. Ranger Intern Program at Radnor Lake!
Monday, we spent the day hiking 5 miles and educating the interns on the BJMAEC Project with Dustin conducting birds of prey programs and Jesse conducting snakes/reptile programs.
We had a great River Day on Wednesday, among the other trash…..another 11 tires were collected out of 8 miles of river and have been recycled at Firestone thanks to our former FORL President Greer Tidwell. This brings our total to 34 tires collected and recycled this summer, 22 different miles of river cleaned by this program of the Buffalo River in two counties (Perry and Wayne).
