Jr. Ranger Intern Program – Session 1

On Monday, June 10th we kicked off Session 1 of our 2024 Jr. Ranger Intern Program at Radnor Lake. Now in our 22nd year, the Jr. Ranger Intern Program consist of 3 sessions in June and July each summer. Fifteen Jr. Ranger Interns spent the week working with our park staff on trail projects, Go Green Sustainability Projects and hiking 3-6 miles of trails per day. On Thursday, these youth interns took a break from trail work for a day long beginner birding class led by Ranger Matthew Bowling.
