January 10th Volunteer Day at Radnor Lake

Picture above taken by Park Manager, Steve Ward.

28 volunteers braved the rain to help us clean up 9-acres of our newest property known as the Mantra Tract which is located at intersection of Franklin Road/Old Hickory Blvd.  From Noon-3pm today, Saturday, January 10th,  volunteers picked up trash, sorted recycling materials and helped us stake off two chestnut trees prior to the demolition of two residences on site and helped us in overall efforts to clean up all 9 acres as part of our Harris Ridge Trail Project at Radnor Lake.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who attended and worked with us in the rain today!  Special thank you to Friends of Radnor Lake for providing volunteer supplies for todays clean up!

We will have upcoming volunteer opportunities in the near future to help us complete this 2026 resource management priority at Radnor Lake.
