Great Backyard Bird Count

8:00am – 10:00am

Are you interested in participating in a global bird count that helps researchers better learn about and protect birds? Join Ranger Matthew Bowling for a birding hike at Radnor Lake State Natural Area where we will learn about the importance of birds and how to identify them. We will meet at the Walter Criley Visitor Center before setting out to observe and count birds. All levels of birders welcome. Be sure to bring your binoculars if you have them and wear comfortable shoes for walking. If an individual doesn’t have binoculars there will be some available to use while on the hike.
