Ensworth at Radnor Lake State Natural Area on National Public Lands Day 2016
On Friday, September 23rd students and faculty from Ensworth came out to Radnor Lake to celebrate National Public Lands Day by volunteering to help w/the Historic Valve House Project.
The Ensworth Service-Learning program is part of the K-12 curriculum where we seek to experientially learn and develop our core skills in a way outside the classroom. These core skills include to collaborate, communicate, observe, question, speculate and hypothesize, evaluate and apply knowledge. Each year, grades 9-12 cancel classes 4 times to serve in the community to plant the seeds that our students would be productive contributors to society.
Thank you Ensworth students and faculty for your time on NPLD Weekend!
