April 16, 2021 Flood Recovery Volunteers at Radnor Lake State Natural Area

On April 16th, 8 volunteers came out for a special volunteer opportunity to continue the momentum of our work on April 15th. These 8 volunteers worked with our park staff cleaning up from the Flood of 2021. The focus of this workday was to remove rock, asphalt, litter, and debris from our waterways via 5-gallon buckets adjacent to Otter Creek Road and repurpose those materials for our Lake Trail Bridges Project. Volunteers worked together, often on their hands-knees pulling debris into buckets to be hauled out.

Thank you to all of the volunteers that came out to help us kick-off our Flood 2021 Recovery Efforts and for working with our park staff.

Special thanks to Friends of Radnor Lake for providing bottled water and other supplies needed for our flood relief efforts!
