American Eagle Day at Radnor Lake

Forty-nine park visitors hiked and braved the rain to participate in two tours at the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center as part of American Eagle Day at Radnor Lake.

These two tours highlighted the importance of American Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles and their conservation success stories across the State of Tennessee. Glove programs were conducted by our park staff with our raptor ambassadors who reside at the aviary center and/or cannot be released back into the wild due to the nature of their injuries.

Thank you to all of our visitors who came out to celebrate American Eagle Day at Radnor Lake!
