After Thanksgiving Harris Ridge Trail Project Sunset Hike

35 visitors came and attended our Harris Ridge Trail Project Sunset Hike on November 25th as part of our statewide After Thanksgiving Hikes.

Not only did our hike participants hike all three of the Harris Ridge Trail Project acquired ridgetops, they also volunteered ½ an hour of their time to pull invasive-exotic bush honeysuckle on steep incline of the Harris 2 Tract. This is part of our resource management priorities to make this future trail free of invasive-exotic plants.

Thank you to all of our hike attendees who came out to spend 3 hours with us this holiday weekend to view our progress on the Harris Ridge Trail Project and also your help pulling invasive-exotic plants.

Special thanks to our neighbors at Church of the Advent for hosting this hike in their parking area and to Friends of Radnor Lake for providing gloves-bottled water for our hike participants.
