30 Hikes in 30 Days Campaign at Radnor Lake (Nov. 1st thru 12th pics) 2016
The ranger staff at Radnor Lake State Natural Area have been conducting hikes the past month for park visitors to our newly acquired Harris Ridge Project.
This past Saturday (Nov. 12th), we had 21 visitors attend two hikes (7am and 1pm) to see this property first hand, learn about the watershed, viewshed, natural and cultural significance and future management plans thanks to the partnership between Tennessee State Parks, Friends of Radnor Lake and the Harris Family.
As part of the Tennessee State Parks First Hikes Series, we will be offering 5 additional hikes starting on November 25th thru January 1st to highlight three different ridgetops acquired thanks to our land acquisition efforts since 2011.
