National Public Lands Day at Radnor Lake 2019

On Friday, September 27th we kicked off the 2019 National Public Lands Day with 40 volunteers from our partners at Nissan who are working with our park staff on mulching the Lake Trail via wheelbarrow. Thank you Nissan for once again partnering with us for NPLD and for sponsoring our volunteer program at Radnor Lake! We also have a public volunteer day in honor of National Public Lands Day that begins at 2pm as part of our Tennessee Serves opportunities at Radnor Lake.
In addition, we are pleased to announce our long awaited floor map installed by our friends at Imagen. This was an idea that came to fruition the past year thanks to Lyndy Maness and Joan LaGrasse, supported by state park leadership, James Russ, Chris Padgett, Bill Avant, the park staff and Dr. Doug Heffington for us to improve our displays at the Walter Criley Visitor Center….thank you each for making this project possible.
