Help Radnor Last Another Lifetime

Nashville’s wildlife haven is ready for a metamorphosis.

For over five decades, Radnor Lake State Park has been home to a diverse array of stunning species. Our unmatched biodiversity surrounds you at every trail head, with rare birds, playful otters and stunning butterflies ducking in and out of sight. Blanketing their terrain are hundreds of species of wildflowers, fungi and mosses entwining around the park, fostering a paradise for wildlife lovers and green thumbs alike.

It’s hard to fathom that a place like this exists just 15 minutes from downtown Nashville, but thanks to private citizens, local landowners, scientists, environmentalists and the State of Tennessee, this protected natural area is a half century old.

It’s up to us to keep the momentum going.

SUPPORT RADNOR LAKE

That’s where Friends of Radnor Lake comes in.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards three core areas:

  • EXPANSION

We want to continue to expand our borders, gaining and protecting new critical acreage in alignment with the State’s land management plan to protect Radnor Lake.

  • ENVIRONMENT

We want to continue to uphold our reputation as a sustainable natural area through our ecological research projects and resource management, fulfilled by our park staff and volunteers.

  • EDUCATION

We want to fund more environmental education programs so everyone can learn more about the natural world and the animal kingdom of Middle Tennessee.

We want to devote resources to the upkeep and stewardship of the grasslands and waterways within the natural area, ensuring that they remain vibrant and healthy for all of the species that call them home.

We want to provide innovative and engaging programs for everyone that embraces an active and healthy lifestyle.

And with small individual donations, we can achieve it. We have multiple corporate and foundation partners, but with individual contributions, we will glide over the top of our goal and keep this park a thriving habitat for wildlife and its enthusiasts for centuries.

Let’s keep the magic going. Here’s to fifty more transformative years of protection, promotion and preservation!
