National Trails Day Hike-Harris Ridge Trail Project

June 1
8am-10am
Come join us for this unique hiking opportunity for our park visitors to see the current trail progress on our Harris Ridge Trail Project. This hike will be co-led by Dr. Doug Heffington from Henderson State University, Tennessee State Parks Trail Coordinator Michael Meister and Radnor Lake Park Manager Steve Ward. Special thanks to our friends at The Church fo the Advent for working with us to allow parking/meet up for this hike at their location to offer this hike as part of our 2019 National Trails Day at Radnor Lake. Bring your hiking shoes, walking stick and a bottle of water for this moderate hike which will include numerous stops to discuss our research on the ground at Radnor Lake. We will hike both on the new trail and off-trail on this newly acquired tract of property. The focus of this hike is the progress of the Harris Ridge Trail Project and our goal of creating a new 3-mile trail to connect from Franklin Road to Otter Creek Road. Ages 14 and up
