Motlow College visits Radnor Lake Aviary

On April 4, 2017, Motlow College Environmental Science Students participated in a field trip to the Radnor Lake State Natural Area (Barbara J. Mapp) Aviary Education Center to learn about the biology of Tennessee’s birds of prey and reptiles and amphibians.  Ranger Dustin Crowell lead the trip, providing expert guidance regarding the State’s animal populations.  Ranger Crowell has been at Radnor Lake for four years and has been involved in raptor rehabilitation for the last eight years.  Motlow regularly visits Radnor Lake for class trips and often participates in volunteer efforts to support the Park’s mission and meet TNPromise Public Service requirements.
