Jr. Ranger Intern Program at Radnor Lake State Natural Area (Session 2)

Session 2 of our annual Jr. Ranger Intern Program began on Monday, July 6th and runs thru Saturday July 11th.  This is our 13th year to offer this program for local middle school, high school and college students.
Seventeen participants in this program started Monday by hiking over 3+ miles of trails with the ranger staff, will clean up 8 miles of the Buffalo River, participate in interpretive programs at the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center and will work on multiple trail projects with over 100 volunteers by the end of the day on Saturday.
Thank you to Friends of Radnor Lake for supporting this program including lunch for our interns and volunteers, t-shirts and all other cost as we begin our 13th year of this intern program at Radnor Lake.
