Volunteers at Radnor Lake State Natural Area

Volunteers from Vanderbilt Alpha Phi Omega working with Ranger Sam King on October 4th, 2015 at Radnor Lake State Natural Area.

Over the past 8 days, over 160 volunteers come out to help the ranger staff work on our new observation deck project on the Lake Trail ranging from hauling lumber, hauling gravel 1/4 mile down the trail via wheelbarrow and also assisting the park ranger staff on preparing materials at our maintenance area.

We would like to thank all of our volunteers who have come out to help us on this project to date. Our next volunteer trail day at Radnor Lake will be on October 24th (8am-noon) for anyone wanting to come and help work with the park ranger staff on our trail projects. Thank you!!!
