Vanderbilt Service Day at Radnor Lake

On Tuesday afternoon, 20 volunteers of the Vanderbilt IFC Community (either current members in fraternities or potential new members, came to Radnor Lake to work with the park staff for Vanderbilt’s Day of Service.  Benjamin Osterlund helped organized this service day at Radnor Lake with the park staff and summarized the reason they chose Radnor Lake:  “As a community, one of our pillars is service to the community, and the event at Radnor Lake allowed our members to get a sense of the ecological community they are a part of and contribute to environmental well-being”.
We greatly appreciate all of our volunteers at Radnor Lake and for support from Vanderbilt to work on trail and resource management projects at Radnor Lake…..thank you!
