July 24th and 25th Volunteers at Radnor Lake State Natural Area

On our final two days of the Jr. Ranger Intern Program at Radnor Lake, the staff at Radnor Lake worked with 200 volunteers installing mulch and gravel on the Lake Trail.
We are thankful for all the volunteers who came out to work with the ranger staff to push wheelbarrows of 2″ rock and mulch a 1/2 mile down the Lake Trail to improve this trail over the past two days.
Thank you to Dan and crew at Granny White Market for their assistance to feed these volunteers, Clean Earth for providing recycled mulch to be used on the trails and to our partners at REI for participating in our work day on Saturday, July 25th.
Special thanks to Friends of Radnor Lake for funding our trail efforts by providing lunch and bottled water for all of our volunteers and staff the past two days.
Our next Volunteer Trail Day at Radnor Lake will be August 22nd (8am-noon).
