Important Eclipse Event Planning Notes:

·         Registration for the programs on August 21st, 2017 does not reserve a parking spot on August 21st.  We anticipate that parking will be similar to weekend visitation due the uniqueness of this event.  Park visitors who register for any these programs are advised to arrive early to ensure they are on-time to participate.

Educational information provided by Vanderbilt-Dyer Observatory and Friends of Radnor Lake will be posted at each parking area all day tomorrow to ensure safe viewing of this eclipse and other viewing information.

·         Eclipse glasses will be available starting at 9am at the Walter Criley Visitor Center—1 per family until supplies run out. Park visitors are advised to bring their own to ensure they can safely view the eclipse.

There will be a state park ranger stationed at each parking area (east and visitor center parking) at Radnor Lake to answer questions, traffic control, etc……we ask that all of our park visitors carpool and anticipate traffic/parking delays.  Thank you in advance for your understanding and we hope you have a great experience on August 21st!
