Unless otherwise noted, reservations for activities open at 10:00 A.M. on the Sunday before the program and will be taken until it is full.  Please call 373-3467 to sign up.

Canoe Floats at Radnor Lake State Natural Area

  • Sunday, August 17th at 6am. Join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Will Peters for an interpretive canoe float around Radnor Lake.  Canoe float is approximately 1.5 hours.  Ages 10 years old and up.  Life vest, paddles and canoes provided by Radnor Lake.  Registration is required and begins on Sunday, August 10th at 10am.

 

  • Monday, August 18th at 6pm. Join Ranger Sam King for an interpretive canoe float around Radnor Lake.  Canoe float is approximately 1.5 hours.  All ages. Life vest, paddles and canoes provided by Radnor Lake.  Registration is required and begins on Sunday, August 17th at 10am.

 

  • Wednesday, August 20th at 6am.  Join Ranger Jesse Germeraad for an interpretive canoe float around Radnor Lake. Canoe float is approximately 1.5 hours.  All ages. Life vest, paddles and canoes provided by Radnor Lake.  Registration is required and begins on Sunday, August 17th at 10am.

  • Saturday, August 23rd at 2pm.  Join Ranger Sam King for a program on the history of Radnor Lake.  This program will start at the Visitor Center with a powerpoint presentation and conclude with a short hike to the Historic Valve-House Trail. No reservations necessary.

Volunteer Trail Day at Radnor Lake State Natural Area

  • Saturday, August 23rd at 8am.  Join the Radnor Lake Staff, REI Staff, Hands on Nashville, Jr. Ranger Interns and Friends of Radnor Lake for our monthly volunteer day.  We will be working on a variety of projects ranging from mulching trails, Ganier Ridge Trail step project and/or working on projects at the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center.  Lunch, gloves and bottled water provided by Friends of Radnor Lake. No reservations necessary.
