Radnor Lake Volunteer Trail Day (November 28th, 20115)

On Saturday, November 28th over 50 volunteers came out to Radnor Lake to work with the ranger staff on trail projects on the Lake Trail and on the Flighted Eagle Aviary at the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center.
Thank you to all of our volunteers who came out after Thanksgiving to help us complete these projects as we close out 2015!
We would like to thank the following for supporting our volunteer efforts in 2015:
Friends of Radnor Lake provided lunch, t-shirts, gloves and bottled water for our volunteers.
Dan and crew at Granny White Market for providing lunches each month.
Our partners at Hands on Nashville and REI for their support of our volunteer efforts during 2015.
Our next volunteer trail day will be on January 23rd, 2016. We will begin our “Trees to Trails” recycled Christmas Tree program along with invasive exotic plant removal projects on that volunteer day.
