On Saturday, November 14th at 10am the first waterfowl identification program was conducted by the Radnor Lake Ranger Staff for park visitors on the Lake Trail. Completed on November 13th, this new platform will provide an excellent area for wildlife observation and ranger led interpretive spotting scope programs for park visitors.

During the first spotting scope program today, park visitors were fortunate enough to see an American Bald Eagle, numerous waterfowl such as mallards, ringneck ducks and several pie-billed grebes.

Funded by Friends of Radnor Lake, we would like to thank the countless park volunteers and Chris Magill for working with the park staff the past few weeks to complete this new addition to Radnor Lake State Natural Area.
