Trees to Trails at Radnor Lake

Please consider donating your Christmas Tree to Radnor Lake.  We will need all the old Christmas Trees we can get but it must fit our criteria for mulch on the trails.  We will be installing these trees on the Lake Trail and Spillway Trail during the month of January.  Volunteers and volunteer groups will be needed to help spread mulch.  Our next Volunteer Day will be on January 28th (8am-noon) for any park visitors wanting to come and help

Picture above by Michael Meister On December 13th Radnor Lake hosted the final trails assessment workshop before the kick off of the year long trails assessment initiative. Over the next 12 months all 56 parks will be joining in on an assessment of 1,200+ miles of trails across the state in order to better prioritize their maintenance and correct any safety concerns for visitors. Special thanks to the Friends of Radnor Lake for providing lunch.
