On Monday, December 21st Radnor Lake State Natural Area hosted a Visitors with Special Needs Training by ADA Coordinator Isaac Okoreeh-Baah.  The entire ranger staff at Radnor Lake along with Tennessee State Parks Trails & Vista Administrator Michael Meister and Canoe/Swiftwater Instructor Jim McCool attended this training. Old Christmas Trees Make Trails at Radnor Lake

By Jen French, Saturday, December 26, 2015 What's left of Christmas trees have paved the trails of Radnor Lake for more than a decade minus the ornaments. Yelling 'timber' in the peaceful park of Randor Lake doesn't mean a tree's life is over. Clean Earth Collections is turning leftover holiday lumber into leisurely trails by mulching them. Bald Eagle at Radnor Lake (December 26th, 2015)
Mature Bald Eagle on Radnor Lake Dec. 26th, 2015 by Bob Belser

Beginning on December 23rd, a mature bald eagle has been seen at Radnor Lake by park visitors and the park ranger staff. Since that time, park rangers have been conducting spotting scope programs along Otter Creek Road and on the new observation deck on the Lake Trail for park visitors. Several of our regular park visitors, such as Bob Belser have been able to capture some photos of the eagle.  Thank you Bob for sharing your photos!
