On June 25th, Radnor Lake Staff and 18 Jr. Ranger Interns traveled to Wayne County to clean up 8-miles of the Buffalo River. This is the 13th year that Jr. Ranger Interns from Radnor Lake have conducted this river clean up, resulting in tons of trash collected from the river with an average of 40 tires collected annually. Over the past 3 years, tires collected during this river clean up on the Buffalo River have been transported back to Nashville

TDEC's Office of Sustainable Practices visited Radnor Lake State Natural Area today to conduct a series of meetings at the Walter Criley Visitor Center, participating in an inspection/tour of energy efficient improvements at the park facilities which they partnered with Friends of Radnor Lake to complete in 2014-15. Jr. Ranger Intern Program at Radnor Lake State Natural Area (Session #1)

Session 1 of our annual Jr. Ranger Intern Program began on Monday, June 22nd and runs thru Saturday June 27th.  This is our 13th year to offer this program for local middle school, high school and college students. Sixteen participants in this program started Monday by hiking over 5+ miles of trails with the ranger staff, will clean up 8 miles of the Buffalo River, participate in interpretive programs at the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center

Radnor Lake Public Hearing and Visitors Center Grand Opening

On June 5th, our partners at Deloitte came to Radnor Lake State Natural Areas as part of their Impact Day to assist the ranger staff on trail projects.
